Hone your rifle and handgun accuracy with a tactical training tool that gives you two reactive targets within a torso target.
The PT Tactical Torso enhances the PT Torso design by adding two swinging plates to simulate the lethal head and center mass zones. The target-within-a-target design allows for much more realistic tactical training. Instead of firing at large torso targets, shooters must aim for the smaller lethal areas of the torso increasing both accuracy and precision. The swinging plates give instant visual feedback by swinging up when shot. And because the two plates swing vertically from hinges above the hit zones, they do not have to be shot back into place but are gravity reset after each hit.
The torso and swinging plates are made of through hardened AR550 armor steel for maximum safety and durability with both handguns and rifles*. The shooting surfaces are all completely flat and smooth with no exposed bolts, clamps, or brackets allowing for safe shooting without unpredictable ricochet or splatter. The swinging plates are easily installed and removed without tools using a deceptively simple design. The rear hinge brackets that hold the swinging plates in place are made of AR500 armor steel to minimize wear and tear due to daily use.NOTE: The stand and feet are made of mild steel and are not intended to withstand the force of a bullet. Shooting the stand and feet may result in damage.Specifications:

: Yes. The PT Tactical Torso is designed for use with rifle ammunition under 3,000 fps muzzle velocity at 100 yards.Do the PT Tactical Torso dimensions match up to any competition specifications?
: The PT Tactical Torso dimensions are unique to Action Target and do not match the official specifications of any competitive organization. What is the ideal stand height for the PT Tactical Torso?
: We suggest mounting the PT Tactical Torso target head to a 3 static stand to achieve the most realistic height scenario for training situations. Using a 4 or other stand height, however, will not cause the target to become too top heavy. Can I get a PT Tactical Torso in AR500 steel?
: The PT Tactical Torso is only available in AR550 armor steel which is rated for rifle and handgun use.Can I attach the PT Tactical Torso to an PT Practice Stand?
: Because the PT Tactical Torso target head is not excessively heavy, it can be attached to the PT Practice Stand without making it too top heavy. To ensure maximum stability, mount the target head on the lower setting. Is the entire target made of armor steel?
: The PT Tactical Torso target head and the impact plates are made of AR550 armor steel. The brackets and impact plate sleeves are also made of armor steel (AR500) to better withstand the wear and tear of the moving plates.
